Each box contains 5 lbs of frozen bacon-wrapped scallop medallions (about 100 scallops) with a plastic liner—no need to thaw before cooking. Scallops are individually quick frozen to maintain freshness.
Storage / Cooking:
- The product comes frozen - keep it frozen until ready for use. Use within three days after thawing.
- Cook scallops until flesh is milky white or opaque and firm (at least 145°F)
- Cook via Convection Oven: Cook from Frozen. Preheat the oven to 425°F. Bake for 10 minutes - flip and bake for five more minutes.
- Cook via Pan Fry: Cook from frozen. Add cooking oil to a pan. The oil should be deep enough to cover half of the scallops. Heat until the oil is hot. Fry the scallops in the oil for 1 minute. Flip the scallops and fry for another minute. Turn off the heat. Keep the scallops fried in the oil for 5 minutes until fully cooked. Turn the scallops frequently.
- Cook via Barbecue: Thaw scallops before cooking. Preheat the barbecue to medium-high heat. Place foil on the grill, spray with cooking oil and place scallops on the foil. Lid down and grill for 12 - 15 minutes, turning frequently.
- Cook via Air Fryer: Cook at 370°F for 10 minutes, flipping halfway.
